Program Fees & Reminders
Sober Living Residents, please remember that program fees are due on the first day of each month. A one-time administration fee is due upon move-in.
Real Recovery does not provide refunds, take deposits, or accept cash payments.
We have a zero tolerance policy for theft of any kind, including food. Any resident found stealing will be immediately terminated from the program and discharged.
Each apartment or townhome is fully furnished, including modern appliances, décor, and furniture. Residents are responsible for purchasing their own daily essentials such as cleaning supplies, groceries, laundry items, and transportation.
Real Recovery Sober Living is not a hospital or medical center, and we do not bill medical insurance for the sober living level of care.
Resident Notice on Florida Law for Recovery Residences
Recovery residences are not the same as regular rental housing. Under Florida Statute 397.487, certified recovery homes follow special state rules designed to protect the safety, health, and sobriety of all residents.
This law allows a certified recovery residence to immediately discharge a resident if:
The resident’s needs cannot be met at the home
The resident’s behavior or actions threaten the safety or health of others
The resident’s continued stay puts staff or residents at risk
If a resident refuses to leave after discharge, it may be considered trespassing, which is a criminal offense.
Normal tenant rights under Florida’s landlord-tenant laws do not apply the same way in a recovery residence.
Residents can read the full statute here: Florida Statute 397.487 – Voluntary Certification of Recovery Residences
