At Real Recovery Centers, we understand how addiction works, and more importantly, what it takes to build real, lasting recovery. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment or surface-level solutions. Recovery means rebuilding your life from the ground up with structure, accountability, discipline, and purpose at the core.
In 2024, 5,378 opioid related deaths were reported in the state of Florida. This number is too high. These are loved ones, friends, neighbors – people who deserved a chance to find their path to recovery. Our goal is to make the admissions process as easy and stress-free as possible because no one deserves to sit around waiting for treatment to start.
During your first call to Real Recovery Solutions, our admissions team will ask several questions to get you started.
Examples of questions they might ask:
After that, our staff will recommend the level of care and the steps to take before treatment begins. During this call, you are welcome to ask any questions you have. If you’re unsure about anything, this is a good time to ask.
Examples of questions you should ask:
An admission call to Real Recovery is confidential, and our admissions team will not contact anyone else without your consent. The only exceptions are if you decide to involve a family member or doctor, or if there’s an urgent safety emergency that requires legal action.
Our facilities offer treatment for men and women living with substance use disorder. Our programs are personalized and include plans ranging from detox treatment to sober living. Everyone is welcome to our treatment plans, regardless of age, gender, or stage of recovery.
You might qualify for admission if you’re experiencing any of the following:
During the admissions process, we want to ensure we are the right fit for you. We want to know what you’re dealing with — what you’ve been through. We will ask you questions and see exactly where you fit to determine the best level of care for you.
Upon entering our treatment facility, you will meet with a trained admissions coordinator who will conduct an assessment to determine the best level of care for you. This includes psychological, physical, and physiological assessments.
Depending on where you are in your recovery journey, you will be placed in detox, inpatient treatment, or outpatient treatment programs.
During your first call, Real Recovery Solutions can verify your insurance to give you an initial idea of what it covers and what might be out of pocket. Our admissions team reviews the benefits your specific plan covers, so we know there are no surprises waiting for you at the end of treatment.
Most insurance providers cover the cost of rehab, but what you’ll pay will depend on these factors:
Insurances can cover treatment costs, for the most part. During the insurance verification process, you and our admissions coordinator may find that your insurance doesn’t cover everything you need for treatment. When that happens, it’s important for you to consider what you are willing to cover yourself. You can work with our admissions team to determine the treatments that best fit your budget.
Real Recovery Solutions also provides flexible payment options for costs not covered by insurance. Our admissions team will discuss these options with you in advance to ensure you fully understand all expenses before beginning treatment.

When you’re ready for your treatment to begin, make sure you have everything you need to streamline the process.
Before admission, our admissions team will provide you with a detailed packing list that includes approved clothing, hygiene supplies, and required documents for residential treatment.
You should bring:
Designated smoking areas are available at scheduled times, and there are blackout periods for phone usage as well. As some belongings may pose a safety and privacy risk, tablets, laptops, and gaming devices are not allowed. Also, use discretion when deciding what to bring; if it has sentimental value, it’s best not to bring it along.
We know that family involvement is important at every stage of the recovery process. Knowing you have the full support of the people you love can be the turning point in your recovery.
At Real Recovery, we encourage family involvement and provide structured communication and education for everyone to promote sustainable recovery. After an initial adjustment period, we schedule visiting hours for family members to show support for their loved one in treatment. These visits may be tied to your progress or may coincide with family programming.
Family members being consistent throughout treatment can be extremely beneficial, but boundaries are still important. It’s important for your loved ones to support your recovery without making it seem like they know best. We want everyone to feel comfortable throughout the process, and we will encourage your loved ones to ask questions, stay involved, and provide the support you need without interfering with your progress.
The most effective timeline is one that fits exactly what you need. Most of our clients will start with 30 days of residential treatment, but that number can change based on your substance use history, withdrawal risk, mental health needs, relapse history, and how stable your home environment is.
We don’t want you to just stay until after your body is free of substances; we want you to stay on until you build traction – until you are ready to take accountability for the past and take responsibility for your future.
Below is what a timeline might look like at Real Recovery:
| Program | Length of time | Who is it for? |
|---|---|---|
| Detox | 3-7 days, or longer, depending on the substance, the duration of misuse, and the amount misused | Clients experiencing symptoms when withdrawing from alcohol, benzodiazepines, fentanyl, and heroin |
| Inpatient treatment | 30- 90 days; the amount of time varies depending on the progress and needs of our client and what works best for them | Clients seeking a live-in environment that is safe, structured, and free of triggers. Some may stay longer if they have a history of relapse or if their home life lacks safety or stability. |
| Outpatient | Several weeks or months | |
| Sober living | No set time; most clients stay for 6 to 18 months | Clients who are done with initial treatment but who still require an environment that allows them to continue outpatient treatment, build the life skills, habits, and mindset that they need for lasting recovery. |
It is possible to leave treatment early, but remember that leaving early can hinder the recovery process. After leaving, you may experience relapse and are at risk for overdose because your body doesn’t have the same tolerance as before.
However, if you feel like this is the best move for you, we can’t stop you. If you are considering leaving early, ask your care team to help you create a safer step-down plan that prepares you for what comes next, rather than leaving without support.
At Real Recovery Centers, we do more than treat substance use disorder. At our treatment centers, we help you reclaim your life — mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Every treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs because no two recovery journeys are the same. Through a combination of evidence-based therapies and holistic practices such as yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, we focus on healing the whole person — not just the addiction.
Recovery takes hard work, discipline, and commitment, but with the right environment and support system, it’s possible to build a foundation for sustainable recovery.
