If you are looking for sober living after rehab, I highly recommend this place. I’ve done rehab 3 times and went back home and it hasn’t never worked. This place holds you accountable and makes sure you are on a right path for your future. The staff and the people I live with are incredible. I’ve formed a lot of good relationships and a good support system living here. It has also helped me learn the stages and progression of recovery. If you truly want to get sober I think this place is a step in the right direction.

I honestly wouldn't consider this residency a halfway house. It's much too clean, the appliances and units are brand new. The furnishings are upheld and cared for. The property itself is maintained multiple times a week. The staff and owners lookout for not just the resident's well-being but their best interests as well. And the property maintains a safe place for men of all afflictions to recover in a safe and sober environment. I would highly recommend this for anyone serious about their recovery.

Absolutely beautiful!! This is the most amazing sober living facility. Not only is it very clean and comfortable, but it's also very thorough in regards to accountability, job placement, encouragement and 12 step attendance. Highly recommended! I am currently a resident at the North Tampa property and although I was very skeptical prior to having moved in, due to all the horror stories we've all heard about halfway houses; I'm extremely grateful I made the decision to. It was one of, if not the best choice I have made for myself in my adult life. This place has allowed me to build a life in sobriety and grow as a person. Being in a safe place surrounded by like minded individuals all trying to accomplish the same thing can be very rewarding experience. Real Recovery’s new Clearwater location is phenomenal. The way that the location is set up is perfect for building friendships with other men with the same goal as you which is getting and staying sober. It is one building with interior corridors on two floors. Really feels like a community. The apartments are spacious and immaculate. Jon Stob, who is the first person to join the Real Recovery team and is responsible for putting a lot of the Real Recovery programming in place, oversee’s this location, so you know you’re in good hands. Everyone from Jon to the house managers Kyle, Zach and Joe really make you feel cared about. Would highly recommend this location to anyone struggling to get or stay sober.

Definitely had some worries before coming in here because I'd always had a fixed idea in my mind of what a "sober house" is (shady, run down, etc) Luckily Real Recovery is nothing like that. The place is newly renovated- it's got a pool, nice couches and cable in the living room and smart tv's in every bedroom. The guys here are all cool and always willing to help a newcomer in anyway they can. It really made my transition back into the world as smooth as possible. I honestly owe my sobriety to their program.

Clean, orderly, and freshly remodeled, the facility is top-notch. There are multiple washers and dryers available, two separate stoves and microwaves, and seven but(yes, seven) refrigerators.There is a pool with a screened deck. A new, large, flat-screen, smart TV can be found in every bedroom, as well as an enormous one in the common area. The staff have structural procedures in place to support clients progress in their new endeavors while under the supervision of on-site management.

I have been trying to get sober for over 7 years. I moved to West Palm Beach Florida to start my journey, and after many failed attempts I decided to relocate to the Tampa area specifically Brandon Florida. I moved into the Real Recovery house in Brandon on 10/30/20 with open arms. The camaraderie my first day was awesome. I was greeted by Todd the house manager and he was very accommodating to my needs. The following Monday I met John, the program director and he was also very accommodating to my needs. The experience I have had in Tampa/Brandon in these 3 months has been better than the past 7 years of attempting to get sober in West Palm Beach due to the community and fellowship of this house. Coming from some one who has attempted every way possible to stay sober and continually failing, has finally found hope in himself through the Real Recovery Program! Real Recovery is the best option in the Tampa Bay area to not only get sober but also stay sober. The facility is unlike other sober living facilities because of the quality of the living environment and the care which those in charge share their experience strength and hope. If you don’t want to take your addiction seriously or you don’t value the quality of your sober life, this is not a facility for you. If you value your life and an environment supportive of recovery, with other residents who will support you while you are there and in future sobriety, this should be your first choice. I could not have chosen more wisely. Real Recovery helped save my life at a time when I needed it most.

I am currently a resident at Real Recovery in North Tampa. The apartments at the facility have all been remodeled and are like new. The property is really clean and I have access to all the amenities as well as a pool table, a workout gym, a library, a computer room, and an air hockey table. The staff is very helpful and supportive and the residents are all like one big Family. I’m glad I found this place and would not be where I am today had I not. Lastly, if you’re not looking for a better way of life this is probably not the place for you.

Real recovery Clearwater is a new property dedicated to helping men stay sober and gain traits such as self appreciation and character progression. I moved into Real Recovery Tampa about three weeks ago. I got on a plane in Indiana and flew straight down to Florida and moved right in. I didn't know anyone in the house or in the area. The guys welcomed me into their homes and lives and made me feel like I was apart of the family right away. Real Recovery is the real deal. Everyone there has the same goals; stay sober, support those around you, attend meetings, follow the 12 steps, and lead a clean life. If your goals are not consistent with these principles do not consider Real Recovery as an option. The place is clean and was recently updated; giant TVs in every room and all the amenities of home. If you are serious in your sobriety this place is for you. JJ and Patrick are the best and will call you out if you try to fake it to make it. I highly recommend Real Recovery.

I am currently a resident at the North Tampa Real Recovery location and just want to say that I am very happy to be here. I have been here for a few weeks now and can say that if you are honestly trying to change your life for the better, this is the best atmosphere I could recommend. I have enough time and freedom to live my life and enjoy it, but am held accountable to attending meetings, gaining and holding employment, an ongoing relationship with a sponsor, and random drug and alcohol screens to keep me honest. The entire place is freshly re-furbished and is actually quite nice and comfortable, and the guys here are quickly becoming good and trusted friends to me. This is not a "flop-house" or just a place to crash, and people who do not take recovery or bettering their lives seriously are asked to leave. But if you are interested in really improving your life and remaining sober, it is a great place to foster the life skills, new friendships, and accountability which has been helping me so much. I hope this place can be for you what it is for me.

Real Recovery Is an excellent facility. if you’re thinking of transitioning into sober living. This is the best in Tampa bay in my opinion. The staff are polite caring and genuinely want to help us in recovery. The facility is phenomenal every room has a private bathroom a 50 inch TV and comfortable bedding. The property also has a swimming pool, basketball court and a private lake. Every Wednesday there’s a house meeting where we’re held accountable for chores that help keep the Facility clean, and speak about the meetings we attended throughout the week. I enjoy this meeting because they hold me accountable for my sobriety and situations I will face when I’m out on my own. I enjoy coming here every night after work. The Family orientated culture JJ and Patrick provide makes me feel like everyone in this house is my brother, and I am thankful and grateful to be here.
