At Real Recovery, we consider ourselves a family. Our staff is hand-picked based on their personal experiences and successes with similar structure-oriented programs. Sometimes we have staff members that have graduated from our program and are looking to grow and mentor peers within the community they have learned from.
We all have unique skill sets that we utilize in a variety of ways whether it be home operations, resident relations, recovery community outreach, and more. We are all available to answer questions or provide resources to residents, families, and friends of people looking for recovery.

At our treatment facility, we’re here to support you with four levels of personalized care: inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and outpatient care. To help you thrive in recovery, we also offer comprehensive services like dual diagnosis treatment, medical detox, and sober living options designed to empower you to reach lasting wellness.
Inpatient treatment is a powerful option if you’re navigating a crisis. With 24/7 support from our compassionate and experienced clinical team, you’ll never feel alone. You’ll also build meaningful connections with peers who understand what you’ve been through. In this safe, structured environment, free from everyday triggers, we’ll work together to address any co-occurring mental health conditions, giving you the space and strength to focus entirely on your healing and growth.
Outpatient therapy (OP) provides steady, long-term support as you continue building a life free from substance use. You’ll be matched with a dedicated therapist who specializes in addiction recovery and is committed to helping you strengthen the skills and mindset needed for lasting success. Along the way, you’ll also benefit from a wide range of services offered by Real Recovery, including substance use education, 12-step programming, and the flexibility to increase your level of care if your needs change.
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a great option for those who need structured support but also want the flexibility to maintain their daily routines. IOP offers a balanced approach; you’ll attend several therapy sessions each week, receiving focused care and guidance, all while continuing to manage your responsibilities at work, school, or home. It’s recovery that fits your life, without sacrificing the quality of your care.
Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is thoughtfully designed to bridge the gap between inpatient care and outpatient support, helping you maintain momentum in your recovery while gaining more independence. With the flexibility to return home in the evenings, PHP allows you to continue healing in a supportive, structured environment. Choose from full-day or half-day options to fit your lifestyle. Throughout the program, you’ll participate in a dynamic blend of individual therapy, 12-step-based group sessions, psychoeducation, and practical skills development, each one aimed at helping you build confidence and resilience on your recovery journey.
Real Recovery Solutions is proud to offer the largest network of sober living houses in Florida, providing a strong foundation for continued healing. Many of our outpatient clients choose to live in our sober living residences, where they find stability, structure, and support. These home-like environments are more than just a place to stay; they’re a space to grow. Surrounded by a community of peers who are also in recovery, you’ll build meaningful connections, support one another, and stay accountable as you move forward with purpose and confidence.
Medical detox is often the first important step on the path to recovery, and you don’t have to face it alone. At Real Recovery Solutions, we welcome you exactly where you are, even if substances are still in your system. Our dedicated clinical team will be carefully monitoring your progress and ensuring your safety and comfort throughout the detox process.
At Real Recovery Solutions, we believe there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. That’s why we’re committed to helping you find a way forward that works for you. We recognize that every person’s history with substance use is unique, and your Tampa addiction treatment should be, too. Here, your care will be thoughtfully tailored to your individual needs, giving you the best possible foundation for lasting recovery and a brighter future.
During heroin addiction treatment at Real Recovery Solutions, we focus on healing from the inside out, addressing the root causes of addiction while supporting your physical recovery. You’ll work one-on-one with a caring therapist and become part of a supportive community that truly understands. Together, we’ll help you build the strength, resilience, and tools needed for lasting recovery and a renewed sense of hope.
Fentanyl addiction can have serious consequences, but choosing fentanyl addiction treatment is extremely rewarding. If you’re ready to seek help, we’re equally committed to providing you with the tools and support you need for lasting recovery. Whether you need 24/7 inpatient care or the stability of one of our sober living facilities, we’re here to guide you as you build a strong foundation for a brighter future.
What often begins as casual use to keep up with the party can quickly turn into a serious addiction. At Real Recovery Solutions, our cocaine addiction treatment program is tailored to meet your unique needs, helping you break free from the grip of cocaine and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. With the right care and support, you can move past addiction and embrace the possibilities of a brighter tomorrow.
Living with a meth addiction can take a toll on every part of your life, but you don’t have to face it alone. We’re here to help you regain control and take back your future. Our meth addiction treatment program offers a comprehensive approach, combining holistic care, 12-step support, and proven therapies to guide you toward lasting recovery. We’ll work hand in hand to rebuild your life.
Benzodiazepines are often prescribed to treat anxiety and other mental health conditions, but dependence can develop, no matter how use began. Whether your journey started with a prescription or another way, our benzodiazepine addiction treatment program is here to support your recovery with care and understanding. Through a comprehensive approach that includes therapy, holistic treatments, and medication management, we’ll help you regain balance and move forward with strength and hope.
Our alcoholism treatment program is grounded in years of experience and understanding of what it takes to heal. At Real Recovery Solutions, our mission is to empower you to end harmful drinking habits through a personalized blend of evidence-based therapies and skill-building techniques.
We believe in the power of accountability, paired with genuine encouragement, to help you unlock your full potential. Working closely with a dedicated therapist, you’ll explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, you’ll identify patterns that may be fueling your alcohol use, and you can begin replacing them with more empowering coping strategies.
Beyond one-on-one therapy, you’ll also gain strength from the Real Recovery community, a group of individuals who know the courage it takes to fight SUD and are now thriving in sobriety, through shared experiences and mutual support. We’ll help you move forward with confidence and hope.
At Real Recovery, we want you to find long-term recovery and a life without substance use. However, we also know that harm reduction provides an effective set of tools that reduces substance use and overdose deaths in the interim. Multiple resources in Hillsborough County are designed to help people who are still in active addiction.
IDEA Exchange – The IDEA Exchange is a harm reduction organization that serves Hillsborough County. They provide multiple services, including a needle exchange, naloxone distribution to reverse opioid overdoses, and testing for HIV and HCV. Check their website to learn more about where they operate and what their hours are, or call them at (813) 606-9378.
Fentanyl Test Strips – It is common for people who sell substances to lace them with fentanyl to improve their profit margin. However, fentanyl’s intense potency makes it dangerous, especially if you don’t have a tolerance for it. Fentanyl test strips became legal to use in Florida in 2023. They’re easy to use and tell you whether or not your substance is laced with fentanyl. These strips can be ordered cheaply and delivered discreetly to your door through online retailers, like Amazon.
Get Naloxone in the Mail – You can also get Naloxone mailed directly to you if the IDEA Exchange doesn’t work for your schedule. NEXT Harm Reduction and the Florida Harm Reduction Collective have partnered to make mail-based services available to Florida residents who are unable or unwilling to seek out in-person resources. You can request to get Naloxone by mail through an online portal.
During recovery from a substance use disorder, you’re likely to find that you have lots of free time on your hands. It’s crucial to find healthy, engaging activities that you’ll enjoy taking part in. Self-discovery is a major part of a successful recovery, so you might not find the right fit on your first try. Thankfully, Citrus Park has lots of fun, free, and low-cost activities for you to try out.
Go out for a hike at the Upper Tampa Bay Trail. These trails are nestled in the residential northwest Hillsborough County, less than a 10-minute drive from downtown Citrus Park. With six different trailheads, there are plenty of different sections of the conservation park where you can hike or ride your bike and get some gentle exercise while reconnecting with nature.
Take up a new healthy hobby at Central Rock Gym. Try a yoga class to unwind or meet new friends at the weekly member meet-up, where you can socialize while developing your rock climbing skills. Hobbies like rock climbing will empower you to improve your physical fitness while connecting with a community that focuses on health.
Watch the newest films at the local movie theater. You can enjoy going on your own or with friends and family. Movie theaters are perfect for when you’re looking to get away for just a couple of hours in a fun, relaxing environment.
Stop by Eclipse Cafe to get some quality coffee from a locally owned and operated place. You can also check their calendar for local events or sit and get work done in a warm and welcoming space.
Head over to the Maureen B. Gauzza Public Library, where you can check out books and movies as well as technology, like laptops and Wi-Fi hotspots for personal use. You can also check out community events, like book clubs and other activities. Our local library has lots of resources that are free to access with a library card.
Finally a sober living that is about helping people on the road to recovery, that adheres to a set of strict standards to ensure the comfort and safety of the clients over an extra dollar being made. These guys practice integrity in an industry riddled with greed. They take sobriety very seriously and operate with professionalism.
I have struggled for many years with a debilitating case of untreated alcoholism , until I made the life changing decision to come to Real Recovery St.Pete. With the support of staff, and residents alike, I am still sober sober 13 months later. I can not say enough good things about this place! Thank you Real Recovery!
I have been to other Sober Living houses and Real Recovery is the best. They drug test to keep people honest. They make sure clients are responsible and clean their house. The House Managers are awesome. If you are serious about recovery this is a great place to live. Several meetings on site.
Real Recovery is the best choice in all regards. Their facilities are amazing, the amount of work and money the owner puts into his properties is unmatched. The programs they have are also the best. House managers are also super involved, go to the same meetings and know what is going on with the clients.
I recently moved into Real Recovery and I have been very impressed! I came from a sober living situation in St. Pete but moved back home to Bradenton. If you are looking for a clean, sober living environment - this is it! Mark is a very open and relatable person to talk to. The men here are open, eager to help, and make you feel welcome.
I been in Real Recovery of Tampa for a month now and it was by far the best decision I ever made after completing 30 days of inpatient rehab at Turning Point. RR is teaching me how important it is to make friends in recovery and to get out of my comfort zone. Thank you to for welcoming and helping me on this journey in recovery.
